Terms of Service
Effective date: June 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lovely app and your Lila composting device (together, the "Service"), provided by VCycene Inc. ("VCycene," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for use by individuals operating a Lila device they own or are authorized to use.
Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@virgohome.io if you suspect unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the devices or networks connected to it.
- Reverse engineer, tamper with, or misuse the device firmware except as expressly permitted.
The Lila Device, Firmware, and Updates
The Service connects to your Lila device and may deliver over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates. You may choose to accept updates manually or, where offered, enable automatic updates. Updates are intended to improve safety, reliability, and functionality. You are responsible for operating the device according to its accompanying instructions and safety guidance.
Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, content, and trademarks, is owned by VCycene or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the data you submit.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VCYCENE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VCycene from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any non-waivable rights you have under local law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated Terms in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
